In Explosive Atmospheres, Safety Begins with the Right Certification
EST Teknik Belgelendirme provides conformity assessment and product certification services for equipment and protective systems used in explosive atmospheres, within the scope of the 2014/34/EU ATEX Directive and TS EN ISO/IEC 17065.
Certification Services Built on Expertise
From EU type-examination to production quality assurance audits, we carry out the entire ATEX conformity assessment process with an impartial and independent approach. We operate under our TS EN ISO/IEC 17065 accreditation from TÜRKAK and are continuing our journey toward becoming an ATEX (2014/34/EU) Notified Body.
ATEX Product Certification
Certification of equipment and protective systems used in explosive atmospheres for compliance with 2014/34/EU.
EU Type-Examination
Examination of the technical design against the essential requirements of the Directive (Module B).
Quality System Audits
Auditing of production and product quality assurance systems (Module D and
Module E).
Unit Verification
One-to-one conformity verification for individual products or small production runs (Module G).
For Category 1 and Category 2 electrical equipment, conformity assessment must be carried out by a notified body.
An EU Type-Examination Certificate alone is not sufficient for CE marking; the production stage must also be covered by a module.
Manufacturers are required to keep the technical file for 10 years from the date the product is placed on the market.
Employers are responsible for zone classification and the explosion protection document under Directive 99/92/EC.
Changes made to a certified product without notifying the notified body invalidate the certificate.
